Pre-Production is crucial. We would even say it’s an unskipable part of making a record. This is where we make sure the songs AND musicians are ready to be tracked. Our expertise comes in to make sure your compositions are finished, your performance is on point and your sound in mind is clear and set. Don’t sleep on this step if you want to save time, effort and ultimately your hard earned buck.   

At D.N.R. we believe everything should sound good from the source. That’s why we don’t just throw around a bunch of fancy mics and pray for the best. We carefully place each microphone, plug each DI and dial each preamp in order to get the tone right from the start. And if it takes multiple reamp tracks, layers of harmonies and loads of effects so be it! But it won’t be done just for the sake of it. Tracking has a lot of no coming back’s and we truly think no endless amount of plugins and party tricks can replace a great recording. We even like to track instruments in a particular order to get the balance right from the start.  

If you want to record a live show or a performance of the whole band playing together in a studio room, D.N.R. has your back with all its effort and gear to make it no crappy camera audio or venue board mix. Showcase your tightness and feel with a rich detailed recording that’s actually worth listening to. This is a great way to attract attention to a particular song or to get the most content out of your compositions.  

Here at D.N.R. we understand that recording is a huge commitment. Demos are a great way to test the waters. It might be your first time in studio, you might want to listen to your songs before taking the big step or you might even want something accessible to present to labels, producers, other musicians etc. Anyway, we will try our best to make it an affordable stress less experience with great sounding results. 

No matter how great of a performance you gave, a well done editing still makes a difference. Contrary to what you might think, it’s not only about making the transitions between takes smooth and time/pitch correcting your playing. It is also about making slight changes to make each parts tight, punchy and blooming. Even if you didn’t record with us, we would still like to start from there to be sure we give you the best results. 

Recorded with us or not, we will be glad to collaborate on your tracks and give them the D.N.R. touch. Leave your hard earned work in some metalheads’ hands for a thick, crisp and punchy sound with plenty attack, worthy of your record. Because it doesn’t matter how hard your riffs go.
